CCG Textile Concentrate Dyes must be added to Heatset Pastes or similar.
Textile Concentrate Dye should be added up to a maximum dye to paste ratio (see details below). If too much is added colour will be lost when washed.
Recommended Maximum Ratio for Each CCG Textile Concentrate Dyes
Heatset Standard Paste – maximum 3% Textile Concentrate Dyes
Heatset Opaque Paste – maximum 5% Textile Concentrate Dyes
Heatset Hi Opaque White – maximum 8% Textile Concentrate Dyes
Heatset Pearl Paste – maximum 8% Textile Concentrate Dyes
When mixed, standard colours are transparent and will show best on white or light fabrics. If application is to be on coloured fabric, the end result will be a blend of the fabric colour and the colour applied.
Colours are intermixable and clean with water.
Textile Concentrate Dyes are not suitable to be used alone with water or as a fabric dye in a dye bath.
IMPORTANT Before batch printing - TEST the correct fixing procedure by washing and rubbing the test print.
Do not print onto "dressed" fabrics without first removing all the dressing. New fabric often contains “dressing” which can cause problems with uneven colour uptake and/or colour loss on washing.
