CCG Textile Glo Concentrate Dyes must be added to Heatset Pastes or a water based paint system.
Textile Glo Concentrate Dye should be added up to a maximum dye to paste ratio of 20%. If too much is added colour will be lost when washed.
Glo pigments have a watery consistency and mixed colour will require thickening with Heatset Thickener. Care must be taken when thickening to ensure no lumps in the paste.
When mixed, standard colours are transparent and will show best on white or light fabrics. If application is to be on coloured fabric, the end result will be a blend of the fabric colour and the colour applied.
Colours are intermixable and clean with water.
Textile Glo Concentrate Dyes are not suitable to be used alone with water or as a fabric dye in a dye bath.
IMPORTANT Before batch printing - TEST the correct fixing procedure by washing and rubbing the test print.
Do not print onto "dressed" fabrics without first removing all the dressing. New fabric often contains “dressing” which can cause problems with uneven colour uptake and/or colour loss on washing.
