Primo Pro Hanjiki Half Porcelain Clay is a low-grade or half-porcelain made of a cleaned, white clay that contains toseki (porcelain stone), whitening, and feldspar. Primo Pro Hanjiki Half Porcelain Clay is fired at the lower end of porcelain temperatures (1150–1300 degrees Celsius) and is described as "midway between porcelain and stoneware in appearance"
A white or nearly white body. Smooth and easy to throw and trim. Easy to pull and attach handles. Good glaze fit and long firing range: 1150 – 1300C.
Water absorption at 1160C: 9.5% Shrinkage 14%
Water absorption at 1200C: 8.5% Shrinkage 15%
