(1.50)Lynne Newell Published Monday, 15 April 2024 This is a crazy glaze! On red stoneware it is blues/browns and greens on vertical surfaces- very pretty but on flat surfaces on the same clay it’s a sludgy green/brown fired to 1200 with no hold. But, On a light buff reclaim clay and fire it to 1220 with a 10 min hold and you get bright yellows inside a bowl and patches of yellow on the outside with greens and blues. Put it over black velvet underglaze on part of the pot and you get a pure golden yellow colour. It’s the craziest glaze ever and nothing like the bottle colour.

(3.00)jim Published Wednesday, 1 December 2021 Test fired on Primo PW-20 to 1210 with a 10min soak (but not with the recommended Amaco firing schedule). Test tile brushed 2 and 3 coats and Test tile dipped both straight out of container. This turned out a dark brown colour, quite different to that pictured. Rating it is difficult given I didn't follow the Amaco firing schedule however some of their other glazes achieved the pictured results following my firing schedule so I need to play with it some more.
