The Mini is much lower profile than the Model 10 so your trimmings will stay in your splash pan!
It also give you an option to locks the plates down once you’ve centred your pot, so that it doesn’t loosen/tighten while you’re trimming.
With four different types of slider attachments, you can trim pieces as small as 5/8” in diameter and all the way up to 9.5” in diameter.
Perfect for a community studio or a classroom, the patented “fish” shaped receivers keep the Giffin Grip perfectly centred on the bat pins and allow you to use the tool on multiple wheels with out requiring any adjustments.
The Giffin Grip Mini only works with wheels that have 10” bat pins (also works with the Shimpo Aspire).
Model 10 parts are not compatible with the Mini (and vice versa).
