DiamondCore Rotary Tool Dome

The D5 DiamondCore Rotary Tool has a cylinder tip that comes in a coarse 80 grit size that makes it perfect for grinding pottery pieces. When used properly, this tool has a long lifespan. As you use this diamond rotary tool, a new layer of diamonds is exposed as it wears down.

DESCRIPTION:

• Solid Diamond Grinding rotary tool burrs made of solid diamond grit and metal down to the shaft
• 7 mm x 15mm length Cylinder shape
• D5 80 grit coarse for grinding

USES:

• Grinding glaze drips, bisque or high-fired ceramic
• Also works on tile, stone, or glass
• Removing sharp edges, smooth chipped edges
• Shaping or cleanup of bisque spots
• Removing kiln shelf debris

• Always use with water to extend tool life and control dust
• Do not attempt to force or pry with this tool
• Keep out of the reach of children

*Technique Note:  For longevity use water, high speed and gentle pressure.  "Let the Diamonds do the work" and overheating the tool will greatly decrease tool lifespan and change the tool shape.
